Grospellier Turns a Flush

• Level 32: 80,000-160,000, 160,000 ante

Marian Kubis raised it up from under the gun with {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} and Bertrand Grospellier defended from the big blind with {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. The flop came {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Grospellier check-called a bet from Lubis.

The turn was the {9-Clubs} and both players checked to the {8-Hearts} on the river. Grospellier used two hands to slide out a bet of 1,100,000 and Kubis instantly called. Grospellier tabled his flush and raked in a healthy pot.

Christoph Peper open-shipped all in for 2,100,000 in middle position and Christian Mohr stuck in his last 1,900,000 from the cutoff. Stefan Raschbauer also pushed all in for 1,100,000 on the button and all three hands were tabled.

Christoph Peper: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Christian Mohr: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Stefan Raschbauer: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}

It was a fun flop when the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} hit the felt. The {6-Hearts} paired the board on the turn to give Peper a flush and only Raschbauer was still drawing live. The {9-Spades} completed the board and Peper eliminated both players to bring the field down to 12 players.
