The board read , Alex Foxen was facing a river bet of 430,000 from David Vedral and was deep in the tank thinking it over. After several moments he gave up his hand and allowed Vedral to take down the pot.

"Was that a bluff?" asked Foxen. Vedral gave no reply whatsoever, buried in his headphones.

"I don't think you're getting anything out of him" said another player at the table to Foxen. "And even if you did he would probably lie".

"There's information in lying" replied Foxen as he continued to think over if he had made the correct fold or not.
