Anthony Zinno completed with a six and called a raise by Dario Sammartino. Sammartino bet fourth with his ace-ten and Zinno called with his suited six-four, but another ten for Sammartino on fifth broke the resistance of Zinno.

Zinno then lost another pot to Sammartino when he couldn't beat pocket kings and the Italian pulled into a commanding lead.
