The flop was {a-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades}, Ly checked, Rast bet 150,000, and Hellmuth called. Ly also called, and the turn was the {j-Diamonds}. The action checked to Hellmuth, and he fire 325,000. Ly folded, and Rast called.

The river brought the {5-Spades}, and Rast led for 700,000.

"How do you get out of these traps?" Hellmuth asked. "Let's see if this shit continues."

He mucked, and Rast raked in the pot.

"You have no idea Brian," he professed. "But you're going to know in a minute. I promise."

Minh Ly had the button. He opened to 200,000, Brian Rast called in the small blind and Phil Hellmuth defended the big. The dealer fanned {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. Rast checked, Hellmuth fired 300,000, and Ly and Rast folded.

Brian Rast had the button. Phil Hellmuth limped in from the small blind, Minh Ly checked his option, and the flop fell {j-Clubs}{7-Spades}{10-Hearts}, Hellmuth led for 125,000, and Ly called. Both players checked the {2-Diamonds} on the turn, and the river was the {9-Clubs}. Hellmuth led for 150,000, and Ly raised to 375,000.

Hellmuth unhappily folded, and Ly won the pot.
