In the hand that crippled him, Dale Eberle raised it up to 24,000 preflop, Engel re-raised to 36,000 and Eberle called to see the flop.
Engel bet out 12,000, Eberle raised to 24,000 and Engel made the call.
The turn came , Engel checked, Eberle bet out 24,000 and Engel called.
The river was the and again Engel checked, Eberle bet out 24,000 and Engel called. Eberle showed for the nut flush. Engel was crippled and left with only 8,000 after the hand.
A few hands later, Engel put his last 8,000 in from the cutoff, Stephen Bass called in the small blind and Justin Pechie called in the big blind. The two checked the board the whole way down as it ran out and Bass showed for a pair of fours. Engel showed for ace high and that sent him to the rail in tenth.
