Joe McKeehen limped the button and Jared Jaffee did the same from the small blind. Ivan Soshnikov then raised to 4,200 from the big, McKeehen three-bet all in for 22,300, and Jaffe folded. Soshnikov made the call and the cards were turned up.
It was a bad spot for McKeehen, and his best bet was to catch an ace. The flop was far from it, and the turn didn't do him any favors. McKeehen needed an ace and an ace only on the river to stay alive, but it wasn't in the cards as the paired the board.
