Adrien Allain was the runner-up in the 2016 EPT Monte Carlo Grand Finale to collect €577,800. He is hoping to improve upon this haul with a win during the last ever EPT Main Event.
He was off to a good start on Day 2, but just doubled up Martin Kabrhel after declaring himself all in on a board reading . Kabrhel thought for under a minute before calling his remaining stack of 58,100. He doubled up after Allain turned over
for top pair before he turned over
for two-pair.
The next hand the duo battled again for smaller amounts. Allain opened the action on the flop and then folded to Kabrhel's raise to 11,600.
