Bryn Kenney raised and then four-bet shoved into the three-bet of Christoph Vogelsang. The German, who had squeezed to 85,000 out of the small blind, snap-called for a total of 377,000 and held the superior pocket pair.
There was no help on the board and Kenney lost more than one third of his stack.
Timothy Adams was a bit more tricky and just flat-called a raise to 26,000 by Igor Kurganov. On the flop, Adams check-raised from 18,000 to 45,000 and then shoved the turn for 125,000. Kurganov called and found himself in bad shape with top pair.
A blank turn changed nothing whatsoever and Adams doubled up his short stack.
