A huge hand has seen Mikahil Molchanov bust here in 14th place at the EPT Barcelona Main Event. He can consider himself horrendously unlucky to be out of the tournament.
Molchanov was all-in from the button for 2.15m and was up against Pavel Plesuv in the small blind.
The flop of put Molchanov in control of the hand and likely to double up, a 95% shot in fact. But the turn and river gave Plesuv the unlikeliest of straights and sent Molchanov crashing out of the Main Event.
In twenty seconds, Mikhail Molchanov has gone from looking good to make the final table in an event where top prize is over €1.1m to out with €69,170 instead. Plesuv has 5.82m and an eye on the next deal.
