Ze Germans!

• Level 6: 200-400, 50 ante

Team PokerStars Pro, Pius Heinz, became the first ever German to win the WSOP Main Event only last week and it seems that he has given his fellow countrymen a little bit of a confidence boost. Yesterday Julian Herold reached the summit of our chip counts and today Mario Puccini is mounting an assault towards that very same pinnacle. Here is Puccini winning another pot as he surpasses the 100,000 mark.

The player seated in the cutoff raised to 1,100 before Puccini three-bets to 2,700 on the button. Nobody seemed interested in the hand except the cutoff who decided to see a flop out of position versus the table big stack mmm...

The flop was {K-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {4-Spades} and both players decided to see a free turn. This was the {9-Spades} and after the cutoff checked for the second time Puccini bet 2,700 to win the pot.
