Hark The Herold Angel Wins

Jason Wheeler made a standard raise from early position and he received two cold callers in the shape of Emmanoyil Martorakis (SB) and Julian Herold (BB). The three of them stared downwards onto a {10-Spades} {8-Hearts} {7-Spades} flop and it was a flop that caused all sorts of mayhem. Martorakis took the betting lead with a 1,600 punt before Julian Herold raised to 5,400. Wheeler studied the board before making the call and then Martorakis pulled in the crowds with a raise to 14,100. What seemed like a pretty innocuous hand had turned into something pretty exciting. Herold thought so because he didn't want to let his hand go and made the call. Wheeler was next and he too didn't fancy discarding his two pieces of card, but after a while in the tank did decide to fold.

The dealer laid the {8-Diamonds} perfectly on its back and Martorakis checked to Herold who moved all-in. It was a decision for Martorakis' future in EPT Loutrakis and he made the call.

Herold{J-Hearts} {9-Clubs}
Martorakis{A-Spades} {2-Spades}

Martorakis needed a spade on the river and the last time we checked the {7-Clubs} was not a spade and Martorakis was gone. Herold meantime took his place at the top of our chip counts with two more levels left to play.

Squeezy Does It

[user76023] • Level 6: 200-400, 50 ante

Ilias Zografos opened to 1,000 with Joe Elpayaa and Stefan Petrov making the call behind him. Rupert Elder though had other ideas and made it 4,125 from the small blind, the other three folded fairly quickly and the former San Remo champion picked up another pot. He's around the 50,000 mark.

Evangelos Vrakas Re-Takes The Chip Lead

• Level 6: 200-400, 50 ante

McLean Karr just had the temerity to take the chip lead from under the snout of Evangelos Vrakas and in quick response he has taken it back. Here is the chip leader in action.

The player seated under the gun raised to 800 and both Zimnan Ziyard and Evangelos Vrakas called in position.The flop rained down {7-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} and Ziyard bet 1,550 when checked to. Action back on our chip leader and he raised it up to 6,050 from the button and both players folded.

Tolly Takes Teng

There were two limpers, up front, before Andrew Teng raised it up to 1,500 from the button. Tolly Sakellariou made the call and the other limper folded. The flop was {K-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {3-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {9-Hearts} and once again both players checked. The final card was the {8-Hearts} and Sakellariou moved his not so scary stack of 13,000 into the middle. It may not have been that impressive but it was of sufficient enough size to scare Teng who folded his hand.

Out of Harmen's Way

[user76023] • Level 6: 200-400, 50 ante

Well this is an interesting hand. Ignat Liviu opened to 700 from middle position before Sjors Harmens made it 1,900 in position.

The flop was {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} and Liviu check-raised Harmen's 2,500 bet to 5,500 but Harmens then made it 10,100. Liviu tanked for several minutes before eventually just calling to see the {5-Clubs} turn, Liviu checked again and this time Harmens thought and decided to check behind as the hand time was going over the ten minute mark.

The {9-Hearts} came on the river and Liviu now led out for 8,400 - it was Harmens turn to deliberate and eventually he slid out the call - Liviu was forced to show {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Harmens took down the pot with an only slightly better {A-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

Who Has Got What?

McLean Karr may have taken the lead from Evaggelos Vrakas but it was only temporary.

Moorman Caught Bluffing

Yavor Tutev was tanking on the river for nearly ten minutes, Chris Moorman had fired a bet of 9,900 with the board reading {6-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds} and it was only when Alexios Zervos called for a clock that Tutev finally decided to call.

Moorman flipped {J-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for nothing much at all and Tutev sighed with relief that his {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} was good.

Check out an interview with Moorman from earlier today.
