The flop read and Fabian Quoss checked from the small blind. Philipp Gruissem sat in the big blind and he checked as well which put the control in Paul Phua's hands. Phua bet 28,000 and both his opponents called.
On the turn the peeled off and once again it was checked to Phua who bet 62,000. Quoss didn't hesitate too long and called, as did Gruissem creating three-way river action.
The river showed the and both Germans checked for the third consecutive time. Phua tanked for about a minute and then announced he wanted to bet 160,000.
Quoss immediately folded his cards but Gruissem wasn't so sure. After a few minutes he made up his mind and decided to make the call. Phua quickly showed and raked in this very big pot.
