Gironda Doesn't Fall for It

From the button, Vincent Gironda raised. Marco Johnson three-bet from the small blind and Ronnie Bardah called from the big blind. Gironda called as well and the flop came down {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}.

All three players checked the flop and the {3-Spades} landed on the turn. After Johnson checked, Bardah bet. Gironda called and Johnson folded.

The river card was the {K-Clubs} and Bardah checked. Gironda bet and Bardah check-raised. Gironda called and Bardah turned over the {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs} for queen high. Gironda showed the {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} for a king-high flush and won the pot.

Bardah Riding the Rush

The river was the {8-Clubs} and Bardah bet out. Johnson quickly called.

Bardah showed the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for top set and Johnson mucked his hand.

Bardah Rockets Back

Marco Johnson raised from the small blind, Ronnie Bardah made it three to go from a seat over, and Johnson called.

Johnson also ended up check-calling Bardah's bets after the {7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop, the {J-Clubs} turn, and the {5-Clubs} river. Bardah then tabled {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}, and scooped the pot.

"American Airlines, baby!" shouted one of the many here cheering on Bardah. With that one he flies up the counts to close the gap a bit with Johnson.

Bardah Check-Raises Gironda On River

From the button, Vincent Gironda raised. Ronnie "RoNasty" Bardah called fro the big blind and the flop came down {J-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Bardah checked and Gironda bet. Bardah check-raised and Gironda called.

The turn was the {8-Spades} and Bardah bet. Gironda put in a raise and Gironda made the call. Then, the {K-Spades} completed the board on the river. Bardah checked and Gironda bet. Bardah check-raised and Gironda folded his hand.

Ronnie Bardah opened from the button, then Brent Wheeler three-bet from the small blind, forcing a fold from Vincent Gironda. Bardah asked how much Wheeler had left — not quite three small bets — then four-bet, and Wheeler called.

When the flop came {7-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, Wheeler bet, Bardah raised, and Wheeler called with what he had left. Bardah had {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for sevens while Wheeler needed help with {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. The turn was the {10-Hearts} and river the {5-Spades}, and Wheeler was eliminated.

Bardah continues to maintain the advantage as we begin three-handed play.

All three checked the {Q-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop. The turn brought the {2-Spades}, and when it checked to Mizzi he tossed out his last chip, with both of his opponents calling. Gironda and Bardah checked down the {4-Hearts} river, and the trio opened their hands.
