DeWitt Takes a DeHit

Two players checked to Jason DeWitt on the {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} board. DeWitt, who won the $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em event last year for nearly $820,000, fired a bet of 3,500. The first player called and the second one folded.

The river completed the board with the {2-Diamonds} and the first player fired 8,700. DeWitt took some time, but then mucked his hand and dropped back to 19,800 in chips.

Best of Blocksidge

We continue our coverage with Michael Blocksidge putting out a bet of 1,675 on a {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds} board. His opponent didn't even hesitate and made the call.

With a {10-Spades} on the river Blocksidge took his time reaching for chips before eventually putting out a bet of 3,750. Blocksidge's opponent called right away. Blocksidge turned over {9-}{9-} for a full house tens over nines, and his opponent placed his cards in the muck.

Joe Cada Tried and Failed

While we were walking around this massive field we found Joe Cada dictating the action at his table by raising 600 preflop. He received two callers.

On a {9-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop Cada continued his aggresssion with a 1,600 chip bet. One player folded, but the other sat in silence for a minute or so. Cada's opponent then aggressively announced "all in!" and Cada instantly mucked.
