Catching the action on the {A-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop, we found Romik Vartzar leading out for 35,000 from the big blind.

The preflop raiser - Zimnan Ziyard - made the call as the {k-Spades} landed on the turn and Vartzar moved all in for his last 65,000. Ziyard instantly made the call.

Vartzar: {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Ziyard: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades}

With Vartzar drawing dead, he was headed to the rail in 11th place to leave us with an unofficial final table of ten.

Action Slowing

gepostet 2011-06-20 02:17 GMT • Level 21

With players only one elimination from moving to the Thunder-Dome, and another from making a WSOP final table, it is understandable that play has tightened.

With the difference between busting now and collecting the gold bracelet nearly $400,000, we do expect that this conservative play may continue for a while.

A Milli, A Milli, A Milli

After knocking out Jeremy Harkin in 12th place, Ben Lamb proceeded to raise the action the next two hands to successfully win the blinds.

With those two pots, Lamb has just pushed over the one-million chip mark.

Christian Harder limped the small blind only to have Brock Parker pot the action to 36,000 from the big. Harder made the call before checking the {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{K-Spades} flop as Parker continued for 45,000.

Harder slid out a check-raise of 140,000, and after a moment of deliberation, Parker kicked his cards to the muck.
